Ken Erb, Executive Function Coach
Ken Erb is a certified Executive Function Coach dedicated to helping clients build the cognitive, organizational, and self-regulatory skills necessary for success in academics, careers, and daily life. Drawing on over twenty five years of teaching and coaching experience in a variety of settings, modalities and methodologies, Ken works with ages fifteen to twenty-five to develop personalized plans that foster independence, resilience, and goal-oriented habits.
His approach blends evidence-based coaching practices with a compassionate, strength-focused mindset to create meaningful and lasting change.
With twelve years as a tenured science teacher at one of New York State’s top-performing public high schools, Ken’s teaching portfolio spanned the full academic spectrum, from teaching remedial science classes to the rigorous International Baccalaureate program. This breadth of experience gives him unique insight into the diverse learning styles, motivations, and challenges that students face, enabling him to tailor his methods to a wide variety of needs and aspirations.
Throughout his educational career, Ken developed extensive expertise in working with students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans. He has collaborated closely with special education teams, parents, and support staff to create and implement targeted strategies that promote academic success and personal growth. His ability to bridge high expectations with empathetic support has consistently earned him the trust of students and families alike.
Certified by the Executive Function Coaching Academy, Ken combines professional training with decades of hands-on experience to deliver results-oriented coaching. He is passionate about equipping his clients with the tools to manage time, sustain attention, regulate emotions, and take ownership of their goals.
